David Meikle


David literally wrote the book on agency sourcing and selection, and has been acting as an intermediary to brands looking for marketing services agencies since 2009.

Hailed as “the ultimate book for how to strategically source agency services” by Gerry Preece, former Global Marketing CPO for Proctor & Gamble, David’s book, How to Buy a Gorilla, has achieved great acclaim from advertisers and agencies alike since its publication in 2017.

Before founding his current consultancy business in 2009, David held senior positions at Grey Worldwide, and Ogilvy &Mather in London, as well as Head of Country for Ogilvy Russia during the BRIC boom of the noughties, where he grew their business more than 500% in revenue in less than four years.

David’s new book, Tuning Up – which addresses what makes great working relationships and how to build them – was published in September 2023 generating widespread praise and interest. An interactive diagnostic tool accompanying the book is due for launch in the Summer of 2024.
